No, really, I am compiling reviews which I will, as usual, feature in the 2011 Diary by the grace of God. So do send in your thoughts on it. And I also post them on my FB page to ginger other people to go get copies of the book. So do help a sister out.......tell me what you think!

When Women Will Understand.......

That they were created WHOLE right from the get go. That they do not need a husband to be all that God has called them to be. That the only person who can fill the hole in theirs hearts the way it wants and needs to be filled is God. And that until they come to a place where they realise this and place God at the very CENTRE of their lives and beings, they will never feel truly loved nor will they ever be truly fulfilled.

To marry is good. No doubt. To have a good job is good. I agree. To have children is awesome. Very. BUT none of these is what defines you as a person. Your definition, as a Christian woman, comes from who you are in Christ. So success in life or the lack of it is not to be found here. True success is defined by how well you are walking with your God.

This is why DNW wonders when we women will stop seeking our significance, relevance and value outside of God? When? When?

IF You Know That......

God is especially Fond of you?

Yes, you.

I wonder if you know this truth deep in your heart. Think of all the love you have in your heart for your child or your sibling or your parent.....that love of yours, as potent as it is. As deeply as you feel it, is NOTHING compared to how much God loves you. You are the signet ring on his finger and your are priceless cos you know that our God cannot wear fake bling! You are significant simply because your are God's child.

I just wonder if you know that.

Why It Is SO HARD Sometimes......

To just be good? I know, I know, the eternal battle of the flesh vs. the spirit of God in us?

Sometimes I wonder how I would be if I had just a little less free will?

Yes, I really wonder......but would that be truly LOVE? The removal of the choice?

I wonder.......

If You Remember That........

You are royalty? Yes, Do you recall that you are so valuable to God that he killed his only son for you?

Perhaps you have forgotten. My mentor, Pastor B just posted a blog and it just reminded me of this simply 'new birth reality' - NO matter what you have or DONT have, you are somebody special. You are valuable. You are too much! In God's sight.

DNW wonders if you 'get' what this really means?

Why We Don't Experience MORE Love in the Church?

Maybe its just me but I feel that as children of a loving God, congregated in his house, LOVE should be overflowing. But's its not so. I wonder why?

I wonder because my bible tells me that if I say I love God who I have never seen and do not love my brother/sister that I can see with my naked eyes, then am just fooling myself.

So I wonder why we continue to fool ourselves and in God's house for that matter.

I wonder, will you show more genuine love to the members of your church? Will you give some one a real smile next time you are in church? Will you reach out to a first time guest with genuine warmth or will we all just continue to be 'afraid'?

They will 'bluff'' me. Or ignore me. Or want my money. Or steal my husband!.

I wonder if we will let these excuses stop us from being like our Lord Jesus. To all we meet but more especially to those we worship with!

I really wonder.

Why We Just Wont Leave It At The Cross?

Yes, DNW wonders why we are determined to carry all the 'stuff' that God has invited us to deposit at the foot of the Cross back on to our own heads? Why are we 'dragging' these things with a God that just wants to help us?

Why, I wonder do we continuosly ignore God's blood stained invitation for a lighter, more victorious life?

Why cant we just submit all our issues, negative attitudes and behaviours, needs, wants, everyting at the Cross and LEAVE THEM THERE?????

Do we not TRUST God?
