Yes, they toss and turn and burn all night. You do not get any sleep cos you are watching over them. You never know , they might just self combust while you sleep! You rush them to the doctors in the morning and half way through the examinations and the hellish blood test, the child suddenly feels better!
God forbid if you are using an office medical centre and your boss happens to come down to say hello and see how you are doing and sees the 'sick, i don't know what is wrong, am so upset, have had no sleep' child running up and down the hospital hallway! Yup, you look like you just used your child to skive a day off work.
Motherhood. DNW wonders why oh why our children do this to us....then again. DNW just thanks God Almighty.......
