What God Sees In Me?

Yes, this is one of my major ponders....What on earth do you see me in Papa God?
Why do you care so much? How can you stand all my crap?
Who are you really? No one can be so full of Love. But oh yes, you are divine. Not human.
Thank ...well, thank You! Yes, Thank God.

Yes I wonder how come you are so mindful of me, of mine. Why you even care.
When sometimes, I could really care less. At least that is what my words and deeds would prove...
But you know what? I know I can wonder from today till forever.....you are who you are.

And I am just so grateful that you love me the way you do...Whether I wonder about it or not.
My wondering could not change a thing. What a wonderful wonderful love.
If there is one thing I dont need to wonder about it is the veracity of that singular truth,

So, for just this minute, I have stopped wondering to simply say:

Thank you! Thank God!

Why It Is That

When you watch movies and they want to show events happening in different parts of the world, you will see the Eiffel Tower for France, Big Ben for the UK, the Statue of Liberty for the US but when it comes to Africa, you always see a bunch of black people in loin cloths in some safari like place with lions and elephants in the backdrop???!!!! I don't get it. Maybe its just me, but I am thinking 'Is it that there are no notable landmarks in any of the African countries?

Please if you know someone who knows someone in Hollywood, please tell them that they should stop rehashing that 'single story' of what Africa looks like. We have high rise buildings over here too and streets bustling with people who are actually wearing proper clothes. Yes, we have suits and dresses. And we have beaches too. Why cannot the aliens from space drop their alien bombs all over...well...well....The National Theatre in Lagos for instance! Or somewhere nice and notable in Senegal, le petit Paris? I can even manage the Pyramids in Egypt if I must.....

If Anyone Else Thinks The World Has Gone Mad?

I just scanned the two daily papers my MGM bought and I am convinced that the world is coming to an end.....

Am I the only one? Let me see, we have:
Missing Presidents
Wanne be Nigerian suicide bombers
Doctors skiing to work cos the surface of the earth is covered in snow
Stray bullet murders
Landslides, mudslides, earthquakes, bush fires,
CNN and, and....Ok I give up!

Ok maybe its just me.

BTW, Happy New Year.....I know its 10 days old but better late than never. May 2010 be an awesome year for you and yours. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen!
